How HQ protects household informationEVERYDAY USE
Displays appointments from Google Calendars the household chooses to connect. Shared work calendars contribute scheduled free/busy times only when access is authorized. An authorized phone user can confirm creation of a new appointment on one designated personal calendar.
One shared list on the home display and phones, with store filters, quantities, and easy checkoffs. Information syncs through the private household service.
Separate named checklists for travel preparations, household projects, and everyday tasks, with completion status shared between approved devices.
GOOGLE CALENDAR ACCESS
HQ requests permission to read selected calendar events for the household view, read free/busy time windows for a separately shared work calendar, and, with distinct authorization, create confirmed events in a designated personal calendar. It doesn't publish calendars on this website or use calendar data for advertising.
Google's event-writing authorization can technically permit additional operations; HQ's phone interface restricts its use to creating confirmed events in the designated calendar. Details and account-control options are explained in our privacy policy.
